The Oklahoma Cooperative Agriculture Pest Survey (CAPS) is a statewide early detection system for invasive insects and diseases in important agricultural commodities. The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry (ODAFF) is partnered with the United States Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA-APHIS) and the Oklahoma State University Plant, Disease and Insect Diagnostic Lab (OSU-PDIDL) to detect and spread awareness of the impact economically threatening invasive pests could have on Oklahoma’s varied agricultural commodities.
